Scope and current product

This draft describes the current Between Us MVP: an anonymous two-person questionnaire with 50 prompts. Each participant receives a capability link, answers separately, and may see descriptive trait scores and a neutral comparison after both responses are complete.

The repository currently verifies that the questionnaire does not require a name or email address. The product is for entertainment, conversation, and self-development only; it is not a psychological diagnosis, clinical assessment, scientific prediction, or measure of relationship success.

Data we currently collect

The current flow can process the following information:

  • The 50 questionnaire answers submitted by a participant.
  • Computed trait scores derived from those answers and the neutral differences used for the comparison.
  • The computed pair compatibility percentage and its five-trait comparison snapshot, stored after both participants have submitted complete responses.
  • The selected locale (English or Spanish).
  • Anonymous capability and session metadata needed to connect the two-person session and authorize access, including the participant slot and timestamps.
  • The consent version, consent locale, and consent timestamp recorded with a submitted response.
  • Browser-local state where applicable: before consent, only the session capability state needed to resume the flow; after consent, the browser may retain an answer draft to keep the questionnaire usable after a refresh.

Purposes and legal basis

Between Us uses this information to create and protect an anonymous questionnaire session, save a participant response, calculate descriptive scores and the pair compatibility percentage, show the participant’s result, and show a neutral comparison when both participants have completed the flow.

For submitted questionnaire responses and the relationship-related information they may contain, the current implementation uses the participant’s explicit consent as the processing basis. The consent checkbox appears before a response is stored, and the server rejects a submission without consent and the current consent version. The precise legal basis for technical operations and any additional processing remains an owner-review item.

Consent and relationship data

Questionnaire answers can reveal personal preferences, feelings, or relationship context even though Between Us does not ask for names, email addresses, or a written relationship story. The consent step explains this relationship-data processing and links to this Privacy Policy and the GDPR & data processing information before saving the response.

A participant may withdraw consent where applicable by contacting the responsible entity. Withdrawal does not automatically undo processing that was lawful before withdrawal; the operational method and identity checks for handling a request must be confirmed by the owner before launch.

Retention and deletion

The repository does not specify a retention period, an automatic deletion schedule, or a self-service deletion control. Those are open owner-review requirements and must be decided before launch.

For now, a person can contact betweenus@polsia.app to ask about access, deletion, or another applicable request. The final operational process, response time, and verification steps must be approved and documented by the owner.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, a person may request:

  • Access to personal data and information about its processing.
  • Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure of data.
  • Restriction of processing.
  • Objection to processing where the right applies.
  • Portability of data where the right applies.
  • Withdrawal of consent for processing based on consent.
  • Information about how to complain to a competent supervisory authority.

Sharing, processors, and international transfers

The service may need infrastructure and operational providers such as hosting, database, security, monitoring, or other technical processors to run the questionnaire. The repository does not provide the final processor/vendor list, processor agreements, hosting jurisdictions, or transfer safeguards. The owner must verify and publish those details before launch.

International transfers may apply depending on the providers and locations ultimately used. This draft does not claim that transfers do not occur and does not invent a transfer mechanism or safeguard.

Contact and owner approval

Questions or rights requests should currently be sent to betweenus@polsia.app. No street address or additional contact route was supplied for this MVP, so none is stated here.

This page is an owner-review draft and not legal advice. Before launch, the owner must verify the responsible-entity details, legal bases, retention and deletion operation, processor categories and agreements, international-transfer locations and safeguards, and the final rights-request procedure.
